Sangria is my weakness, all the different kinds. This Sparkling Cranberry Sangria is a Thanksgiving tradition that will always have a place at my holiday table.
I have a thing for sangria, there is something about adding the extra ingredients to a bottle of wine that just makes it over the top for me! Which is funny because I’m really not a wine drinker but the addition of fresh fruit and juice that makes me drink a whole pitcher.
Sparkling Cranberry Sangria
I believe I’m taking liberties calling this a sangria. Now technically I believe it is made with red wine. But my personal definition would be a combination of wine and fruit. I have no actual powers to make my own definition but here we are.
I don’t think a person needs a lot of fancy kitchen gadgets but a good pitcher, a cocktail spoon and a muddler sure do come in handy for a drink like this. But don’t be fooled I’ve made this in a big ball jar stirring with a wooden spoon mashing fruit with my meat tenderizer.
