I love ham salad – not sandwich spread but this super simple homemade ham salad!
There is this little grocery store/mart in Fairland, by where I grew up, called Mr T’s – best.ham.salad.ever. – but while it’s not that far away, a trip there every time I am craving it isn’t always doable so I make it!!
It’s super easy, quick and only a few ingredients! So easy to make fresh for a quick lunch, served with some potato chips and a pickle spear. Put the leftovers in the fridge for a great snack.
You can use leftover ham or I just buy the cubed ham in the refrigerator section!
The first thing I do is run my ham and celery through the food processor. I don’t have a big food processor – mostly because I hardly ever use one and I just don’t have the storage room for a lot of kitchen appliances!
This is the one I picked up a long time ago for less than $25-it does everything I need and is really easy to store! It is a 3 cup food processor and I love the size!
Once the ham and celery are processed, just put it in the bowl with the rest of the ingredients and your good to go!

I LOVE ham salad too. My sister and I consider it comfort food. Our mom’s recipe (and therefore ours too) is a little different than yours, but it is definitely one of my favorites. I’m always shooting for leftover ham, just so I have a reason to “have” to make it!
I would love to know your Mom’s – bet it is amazing!!!
