There are literally a million ways to make Overnight Oats into any flavor you desire!

I love either my mason jars or these super cute Weck glass jars with the glass lid and little clips, they are super adorable!  Practical, I might question in my messy disorganized kitchen, but so cute!

I will be perfectly honest,  while pretty in the picture and fun for me to eat, I refuse to send my glass jars out with my kids!  Let’s be honest, I’d have to track that jar down in my kids’ Jeep. It would be under all her softball gear, muddy boots, gas station trash. Then I would pray it’s not broke!  So I started making them grab and go style in these disposable cups with lids, and where the lid has the hole I stick a plastic spoon in!

And don’t forget to write a fun note or joke on there because ‘non-morning’ people love it when you try to cheer them up!!!

The key to overnight oats is a 1:1 ratio for your oats and your milk – which is what we use!  Choose a serving size that works for your family. We use 1 cup of oats to 1 cup of milk or 3/4 cup of oats to 3/4 cup of milk for a slightly smaller portion.

These 4 are our favorite versions. Super easy to throw together in no time for quick breakfasts or snacks on the go!  I’m not gonna lie I pretty much consider even a cookie with oatmeal in it to be a good breakfast item!

Maybe I missed something? Read through three times, do I at some time cook these breakfast goodies? I know vision goes a little with age but I didn’t know it would be this bad ;). Help please? Dee (Xtexgal)

    1. Well leave it to me not to be clear…….we have heated them in the microwave right before we eat them and we have also eaten them cold. Basically when popping them in the microwave you are just heating them up if you like warm oatmeal- the oats are soft from sitting in the milk so there really is no cooking necessary! Sorry about that!

  2. You totally just simplified my life with the 1:1 ratio. We love overnight oats but I’m always looking up recipes to measure things out! Are the Weck jars stackable or do the clips get in the way?

  3. I’ve been wanting to try overnight oats & these look yummy! Pinning these so I can try them soon! Thank you for the great recipes.
