I love Chicken and Rice Casserole and I love peas. So I knew I needed to be able to make an Instant Pot version for the ease and quickness of a getting a good meal on the table fast!
This recipe couldn’t be easier or more delicious. There is something so comforting to me about chicken and rice casserole. And peas, well I just love peas. Frozen peas are such a great vegetable to have on hand and always tastes and looks super fresh.
I am learning to love my Instant Pot and make it earn its keep. My kitchen only has so much room for multiple counter top appliances. I have the 6 quart and it works great for families, but my college daughter is wanting one and I’m excited they make a 3 quart size!
Instant Pot Chicken, Rice and Peas
I love that this I made with regular long cooking rice and not instant minute rice. While the convenience of minute rice is a must in our house the price of long cooking rice is the winner.
