When I saw that Captain Morgan had a Gingerbread Rum I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited. Gingerbread is underrated to me. Peppermint gets all the glory this time of year and so my goal is to raise gingerbread awareness!

- Microplane/Zester
Gingerbread Baileys Holiday Cocktail
So while I’ve provided a list of great bar items to have on hand, I’m gonna be real with you! I most of the time use whatever glass is clean, which sometimes means a $1 plastic Mickey’s Clubhouse cup! And, measuring alcohol? Don’t make me laugh, pour it in and I will hear the whisper of the cocktail gods when the amount is right!
I haven’t professed my love for these cookie gingerbread men! I have loved these guys since I was little, Pepperidge Farms Gingerman Cookies! They make the perfect accent to this cocktail!
My Gingerbread favorites:
Gingerbread Baileys Holiday Cocktail
Ingredients
- 4 ounces Original Bailey's Irish Cream
- 1 ounce Captain Morgan Gingerbread Rum
- ice
- whipped cream optional
- nutmeg optional
- Gingerbread Cookies optional
Instructions
- Pour Bailey's, Gingerbread Rum and Ice into a shaker - and shake
- Pour into a glass - a rocks glass is traditional but any glass will work!
- Top with as much or as little whipped cream as you like and a sprinkle of fresh nutmeg or a shake of already ground nutmeg!
- If your up for sharing grab some gingerbread cookies to top it off!
