I absolutely love that we can get fresh fruit and vegetables any time of the year. Don’t get me wrong fresh-picked berries will always be tops in my book. But for reals, in January we can get almost anything we crave at the grocery store!

Easy Seedless Blackberry Syrup
Morning, noon, or night this syrup will hit the spot. A treat on pancakes, a huge hit when added to a big pitcher of lemonade, and a treat poured over ice cream!

Easy Seedless Blackberry Syrup
Ingredients
- 4 cups blackberries
- 1⅓ cups sugar
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Rinse your berries
- Add the berries, sugar, lemon juice and water to a pan on medium heat, stir to combine
- Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Once mixture comes to a rolling boil, continue cooking and stirring for 2 more minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool for a couple of minutes, then strain mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
- Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator.
