My friend Sarah over at Farmwife Crafts has a great homemade taco seasoning recipe which is what I use. But I won’t lie and act like I’m constantly prepared because I’m not. I always, always keep taco seasoning packets on hand!
Easy Loaded Skillet Taco Meat
This is one of my favorite Taco Tuesday go-to’s. One skillet for the meat, veggie and beans

How To Make Easy Loaded Skillet Taco Meat
I love this recipe because it can be a meal, as simple or as extravagant as you want to make it. I’ve been known to put this on the table with a jar of salsa and a bag of shredded cheese. But I can dress this meal up as well. Adding some shredded lettuce, fresh diced tomatoes, guacamole, and some Mexican rice still makes this an easy meal but with all the trimmings!
This makes a big batch but doubling it gets you a great freezer meal as well and takes no more time! It’s easy to pull out of the freezer on a Tuesday morning for easy tacos or taco salad on Taco Tuesday!

Oh cannot wait to try this! Pinned for later.
Oh my goodness! This is right up my alley! Thanks for sharing 🙂
What a good idea! I have all the fixings at home including my favorite Georgia Peach & Vidalia Onion Hot Taco Sauce. I’ll look up that taco seasoning mix mentioned and it’s tacos for supper tonight! Stay warm up there–although it is freezing here in NE Texas right now so these tacos will be a good warm up after feeding chores.
