This recipe makes 2 loaves and you can of course cut the recipe in half but you will want to make both because if you don’t eat it you will want it for my next pumpkin recipe!

Double Pumpkin Beer Bread
My Mom called as soon as she took this out of the oven and I literally dropped everything to get to her house for a taste test………4 hours later and a batch of Double Pumpkin Beer Bread Pudding later, both loaves were gone and I was in a happy pumpkin coma!!
This would be an easy recipe to whip up several batches of and deliver to neighbors on Thanksgiving morning. Bake them in these cute paper loaf pans that don’t need to be returned and let your neighbors know you are thankful for them!
Double Pumpkin Beer Bread
Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups pumpkin
- 3/4 cup pumpkin beer
- 1 T. molasses
- 3 cups flour
- 2 t. baking soda
- 3 t. pumpkin pie spice
- a pinch of ground cloves
- 1/2 t. salt
Instructions
- Cream the sugars and oil, add eggs one at a time and mix well.
- Add the pumpkin, beer and molasses- mix well.
- Add the dry ingredients and spices-combine well.
- Divide the batter between two lightly greased bread pans and bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
