These Oven Baked Pork and Beans are just like my Mom has made for my entire life. Deep barbeque flavor, perfect as a side dish for dinner or easy to make as a big batch for pitch-ins!
Can we all just agree that baked beans aren’t very photogenic! While a little camera shy they definitely aren’t afraid of bold flavors!
As I photographed these for this post I randomly tweeted:

To which someone replied……roll that “beautiful bean footage”. I giggled entirely too hard, then spent an inordinate amount of time making this video!
And then I watched it on repeat and laughed!
Oven Baked Pork and Beans
Baked beans go a long way, so this recipe can be easily doubled or tripled. The measurements below on the recipe card make a perfect amount for a family dinner at home. But this Oven Baked Pork and Beans recipe is super easy to make a huge batch of as well!
This works like a symphony with my Perfect Pulled Pork and my Almost Award Winning Mac and Cheese! Like nothing says I’m a complete Midwesterner than the combination of these three dishes!
Oven Baked Pork and Beans
Ingredients
- 1 28 ounce can pork and beans
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 Tablespoons ketchup
- 1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
- 2-3 glugs Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 small onion
- 5-6 slices bacon
Instructions
- Mix all of the ingredients in an oven-safe dish, cover with foil or lid.
- Bake in 350° pre-heated oven for 1-1½ hours, till beans have thickened, onions are soft and bacon cooked. About 20 minutes before they are done take the lid or foil off to brown the top!
