My Cream Cheese Buttermilk Cinnamon Sugar Biscuits are not only a mouthful to say but you won’t be able to get enough of them! So freaking good!
Homemade biscuits are easier than you think, you can do it, I promise!
Tips and Tricks
- Pastry cutter versus you hands! I have a really good pastry cutter that I love but to be honest when I make biscuits I always use my hands.
- Cold ingredients. I am a proponent of using ingredients, such as butter, cream cheese, lard, etc. straight out of the refrigerator. I cut them up into small cubes before adding to the dry ingredients.
- Biscuit cutters. Biscuit cutters are so cute and I want to own all of them! But a small glass works just as well honestly.
Making Homemade Biscuits
Dive in and just do it! Baking doesn’t have to be intimidating. I always tell myself that no one is going to starve if they don’t turn out. And I always keep a bag of Pillsbury biscuits in the freezer for those times I fail, because it happens.
Biscuits are a great place to start with bread baking as well. Simple ingredients that don’t require any yeast or raising time.
