Deviled eggs are a staple at family dinners, pitch-in’s and church meals and there are probably a mere million ways to make them. Deviled Eggs With A Kick is the recipe we use, it has a slight kick that comes from a touch of prepared horseradish!
This recipe came about during The Great Deviled Egg Debate of ’96! That’s right, one of the many adjustments to marriage involved deviled eggs we could agree on, if I made my Mom’s recipe Chris would tell me they didn’t taste like his Grandpa’s. But I had never had Pa’s deviled eggs, so duplicating them without a recipe was going to be hard to figure out. So trial and error brought us to this recipe!
The great thing about deviled eggs is size doesn’t matter……they taste good wether made from medium, large or extra large eggs.
Deviled Eggs With A Kick
I’ve shared the way I make hard boiled eggs on the stove in the recipes below but I also LOVE to make them in my Instant Pot. I’m amazed at how easy and perfectly cooked they are. And freaking so easy to peel, I mean seriously easy. I’m not an easy swing vote on extra appliances in the kitchen, but the Instant Pot is a win in my book!
