Instant Pot Freezer Meal Shredded Beef
Every time I make a roast this way I’m amazed at how it just falls apart!
The Instant Pot is one of my favorite kitchen appliances. I’m not a fan of things that don’t earn their keep taking up space in my kitchen so I was hesitant to purchase one but it definitely earns it’s spot!
I have the 6 Quart size Instant Pot and I feel like it is a good size. I can fix enough food for my family of 5 or lunches for 2.
Tips:
- Thawed meat requires 20 minutes a pound, frozen meat takes 30 minutes per pound
- Add some butter if you want for a richer flavor broth
- Use your favorite seasonings – I use either Italian or Herbs De Provence – sometimes I don’t use either and just use salt and pepper
Most importantly don’t throw away the package before you see how much your roast weighs – I’m super guilty of this. Then I have to dig it out of the trash to read the label – just a little tip from me to you!
